Experience

As a young student I always struggled to keep my head above water in school. That was until I started receiving weekly tutoring for math and reading. One-on-one tutoring allows the student to learn at their pace and learn in a way that best suits their needs. After years of being tutored, I know the effect a great teacher has on their student's ability to be successful, because I am one of the those success stories. I have been tutoring/ teaching science since my first year in college where I was hired by UCF's Student Academic Resource Center (SARC). Now, I am teaching AP chemistry, honors chemistry, and physical science for OCPS. During my first year teaching AP chem, I set a school record by quadrupling the passing-rate!
