Full-time Lecturer of English at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for ten years, currently Adjunct Professor of English at Valencia College. The best thing about teaching is personal interaction and developing relationships with students as they grow as thinkers and writers, so tutoring is something I really enjoy. I have taught Composition/English 101 and 102 approximately 100 times, so I feel very comfortable with assignments ranging from personal narratives to rhetorical criticism/analysis, to researched argument papers using MLA documentation. I also edit for business and non-profit agencies and am happy to just proofread/edit completed drafts. I have also taught essays on fiction, poetry, and drama.
